Oak Brook, Ill. – Inland Securities Corporation (“Inland Securities”), the exclusive dealer-manager and placement agent for real estate investment programs sponsored by Inland Real Estate Investment Corporation and Inland Private Capital Corporation, announced today that Sarita Vishakanta has joined the company as vice president – broker dealer relations.

In her position, Vishakanta will be responsible for the development and enhancement of the strategic relationships with select broker dealers.

Prior to joining Inland Securities, Vishakanta served as the head of alternative investment product and relationship management for AXA Advisors, LLC. In this role, she managed sponsor relations and new product launches and conducted due diligence on alternative investment product offerings. Prior to her position with AXA Advisors, LLC, she served as senior investment product and relationship manager for MetLife Securities, Inc. During her career, Vishakanta has also held positions at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Gruntal & Co., L.L.C. (currently known as Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc.) and Capital Legacy, LLC.

Vishakanta received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She also holds Series 7 and 24 securities licenses and a New Jersey real estate license.
